Very minimal steering feedback, and the CVT automatic does OK and doesn't make things unpredictable. Stability control is pretty transparent, and as we've seen from other Toyotas it might actually help the skidpad number (it does). Typical all-season tire grip, average amount of understeer, nothing out of the norm. Otherwise it's fine, nothing exceptionally bad or good to note. It squirms around a bit also when braking this hard, too. There's not a whole lot to mask the panic-braking experience sensations.

There's a fair amount of nosedive and a lot of noise under full antilock braking. Powerbraking does shave off a few tenths of a second to 60 mph, but this is still a leisurely pace by most accounts.
